Mrecedes-Benz Museum, Stuttgart

Finally the 2 ECE guys, Ernest and Alistair were here!Yeah!
3 of us visited Stuttgart, the capital of Baden - Württemberg state.^^
we took the RE train from Mannheim to Stuttgart via Heiderberg...
it took 2 and half hours for us to reach there and we act like typical Singapore student - listen to Ipod + sleep lol

After alighted from the RE train, we headed directly to our first and end out our only destination, Mercedes-Benz Museum. However, before I go into depth for Mercedes-Benz Museum, that is one thing I wanted to share about Stuttgart. The transport system here is too advance untill I feel messy. Apart from the ICE and RE, there are S-bahn, U-bahn and R-bahn in Stuttgart. lol! which station can lead me to my desired place?

ok!ok! My apology for my nagging. :S
Now I shall introduce to you all the most advance museum I ever visited - Mercedes-Benz Meseum.

The Mercedes-Benz Meseum is located at Mercedes-Jellinek-Str. Tourist like me can take the S1 train from Hauptbahnhof to the Neckarpark station. After reached Neckrpark, you may just follow the big arrow to the Meseum or for simplicity, just follow the crowd. This is what I did to reach the Meseum xP.

The day ticket for visiting the meseum is 8Euro for Adult and 4Euro for Student. A Audio guide is included in the ticket price.Yeah! with the student ID provided by Hochschule Mannheim, I get the student price! xixi.

However, the first place we visited in the Mesuem was the Toilet. This is strongly due to the our "Kiasu+ness" as you will need to pay 50 cent Euro for using the public toilet! lol. But I was amaze by the toilet. It was clean, nice and yet there are several big mirror attached to the wall. We happy taking photo there and some german actually laugh at us! lol...Please forgive us! We are tourst. so we must act like tourist!haha

After getting our audio guide, we were sent off to the highest floor of the meseum. Here is where our trip began and we will move down as we tour around in the museum and back to the Atrium.

The first lodge displayed the world first automobile built by Karl Drais in 1886 in Mannheim. The evolution of automobile was shown along the parth as well. The second lodge showcase about the born of Mercedes-Benz and the first 30 years of Mercedes-Benz. There are also some area when you can broad into the display model.

The free gift from the Museum....
We actually planed to visit Pauch Museum as well. But due to the "advance" transport system here, we could not reach there before the closing hour. Thus, we have not choice but to rust back again to Hauptbahnhof.
This time, we transit in Karlsruhe....
